We have just arrived back in Sydney and had a wonderful time in Japan, especially at Shibu Onsen.

Thank you so much for the excellent service at Kokuya. Everyone is so friendly and very helpful.
We really enjoyed our room and soaking in the private onsen. And the most exquisite and amazing Kaiseki denner at Kokuya is definitely one of the most memorable meal I have ever had. I am so
glad that we choose to stay at Kokuya while at Shibu Onsen. Looking forward to our next visit at

Shibu Onsen again and definitely will recommend Kokuya to all my friends. Thank you, Billy.

I chose Kokuya Ryokan because I was looking for the ultimate onsen experience, and I was not disappointed.

Kokuya Ryokan is located in the heart of Shibu Onsen Street, a short walk from the nine outdoor public baths in the town, but it also has a large variety of baths of its own, both shared and private, indoor and outdoor. The single-sex shared baths are swapped every day, so you can try them all.

   I came for the onsen experience, but nothing had prepared me for the amazing food. If you stay here, your taste buds will love you. The food is always exqusitely prepared from the freshest ingredients in perfect condition by a chef who has been working here for twenty years. Dinner and breakfast are included, and consist of several generous courses, so my one piece of advice to visitors would be to skip lunch for the duration of your stay.

Very nice hotel. The best experience was private open air bath on our balcony as well as excellent
food, great staff and beautiful area around. Hotel is very good located. It is convenient to go to Monkey park.

Your hotel was the best and most proffesional we have stayed during our travelling around Japan. 
You should advertise and write more about your dinner. Food is not just extreamly tasty, but also extreamly beautiful and big. I am sure its great experiance to stay in Kokuya for many people.

We have loved visiting Kokuya hotel. Our room was beautiful, the food was very nice and was wonderfully presented. You have made us feel very welcome. Gochisoosama!
The best experience was outdoor bath in our room, Monkey park and visiting the top of Mount Higashitateyama in Shigakougen.

We have all greatly enjoyed our stay here. The staff have all been very friendly and accommodating.
The food has been exquisite and a unique experience for us. We will certainly be recommending Kokuya and Shibu Onsen to everyone.

A really good first experience of Ryokan and Onsen. Courteous, helpful and welcoming staff, excellent
choice of baths. Lovely atmospheric room, great local cuisine and perfect location. We didnt miss anything and would like to stay one week more in this relaxing atmosphere.
